The Art of Ron Gulick
Ron has enjoyed a successful career as an artist for many years. He began drawing at an early age under the demanding eye of his uncle, an English watercolorist. "Painting is like keeping a diary, trying to capture a special moment in time. Weather changes, time of day, light – all can alter the most ordinary scene." This is what provides the excitement in his work.
As an avid fisherman for the past 55 years in and around the Norwalk Islands, Ron has enjoyed a unique, intimate and ever-changing relationship with the wildlife and oyster and clamming industries. His paintings capture the unique moments and preserve the history of the area.
He is a signature member of The American Watercolor Society. His paintings hang in many corporate and private collections. Ron lives in Wilton, CT.
